STIMULATE

** As our study together last week was drawing to a close, we observed six elements of our redemption that should cause us to desire to live in a manner worthy of the calling with which we have been called. Do you remember what those were?

V. 6 - It was "freely bestowed", with His grace.
V. 7 - It came at great cost, "through His blood".
V. 7 - It provided total forgiveness!
V. 8 - It was "lavished" upon us, abundantly!
V. 9 - It gave us our understanding of the mystery.
V.10 - It was planned before time.

** Did you place your 3 x 5 card in a prominent place so that you would be reminded of the particular element of your redemption you had chosen to focus on? If so, what impact did that have on your walk with Christ?

It was very encouraging for me to see each day, as I began my day, the significant price that Jesus paid to buy me back from sin. It strengthened my walk moment by moment to be reminded of that wonderful truth!

MOTIVATE

** Do you ever make promises? What are some motives that drive people to make those promises? Do you ever fail to fulfill them? Today in Part Three of Paul's long sentence of adoration towards God, we will learn why we can truly "Hope in Christ" and how the Holy Spirit plays a vital role in that blessed hope. Let's look at the passage together.
